Development of large power generation projects
Managing several projects at the same time creates difficult situations and requires prioritizing:
- the project director must spend a significant amount of the work day setting up process attributes
- EPDOR senior expert staff have carried through multi-project management, developing numerous power plant projects at the same time
- for many European utilities this situation occurred during the period of 2005-2009
- most power plants completed now were planned around those years
- EPDOR's mission is to utilize the experience of its senior staff to help other investors deal more effectively with the problems the projects generate
- project management means building competent teams, effective controlling and reporting mechanisms, discussing engineering collisions, procurement challenges and risk management strategies

PREPARATION PHASE OF THE CENTREPOINT VERNE DATA CENTER PROJECT
A major project that EPDOR implemented to identify a method of energy connectivity for the data center, which is of global significance.
- the site, which is considered for the data center is close to an energy source and also to electricity distribution networks, where it is possible to provide the required performance including backup connectivity
- the aim of the project was to define the connection options, and define the conditions and restrictions, including identification of associated risks
- for data center project was an extensive and detailed presentation was complied for prospective investors
- the content of the presentation was firstly, an acquaintance with the business environment in the Czech Republic, and in depth detail of the region, around the construction of the data center
- the main aim of the presentation was a detailed introduction to the site, specifially the benefits related to energy resources and distribution networks of electricity
